“Sylistically ripe as an expression of Constantia Sauvignon, yet maintained a purity & delicacy of varietal expression leaning more towards stone fruit & spicy lemon, broad textures, lovely concentrations and freshness, drinking well now until 2027”

– Miguel Chan, 2020 Constantia Royale, 93pts

“Gorgeous concentration of fruit flavours bringing quince, dried fig and pistachio nuttiness. Floating your hands through the tall grasses and flowers of a summer meadow. Creamy texture and sleek character.”

– IWSC 2020 Don’s Reserve, Silver Medal, 92pts

“**** Balanced with elegant tones.”
– John Platter

“Gentle interwoven fennel, white asparagus, green nettle, guava and lime. Stylish and elegant with good concentration. Touch of oiliness on the palate.”

– IWSC 2021 Constantia Royale, Silver Medal, 90pts

“Soft and so approachable. While there are some ‘green’ flavours, fynbos herbaceousness and lemon grass, I loved the mouth filling tropical fruits. Canary melon, papaya and grapefruit skin oil. Just the most delicious glass. And so built for al fresco dining on crunchy summer salads, cos lettuce, slivered apple or pear, crumbled goat’s cheese and candied walnuts. Add a tranche of lemon and butter pan fried SASSI Fish and you are on the way to heaven.

Can’t wait for more.”

– Michael Olivier

“Crisp with a refreshing minerality, gently softened by light fruity flavours. A lively and full bodied Sauvignon Blanc that will pair well with your favourite dishes.”

– Wade Bales – Wine Society
